Yılnak Turned Its Route To Europe!

Yılnak Project and Heavy Transport Service Mediterranean Regional Sales Manager Murat Göksun, who came together with Öykü İmset, News Manager of My Truck Magazine, at the Mersin Logistics and Transportation Fair, stated that they are focusing especially on the energy sector in 2023 and focusing on windmill transportation.

Stating that negotiations with foreign networks are continuing, Göksun emphasized that the company is reaching an international level and said that; “Our target is completely Europe!”

“We Focused on the Energy Sector”

“Our Efforts To Expand Abroad Continue”

Starting his speech by indicating that; “We continued our investments as always.”, Göksun continued his words as follows; “First of all, we focused on the energy sector and gave our priority to windmill transportation. We started to divide our company into departments such as energy, air, sea and land. Most importantly, we made a sudden and appropriate decision to expand abroad this year. Our infrastructure work, preparations and cooperation with consultant companies continue. We are going through a restructuring with the organization we have made within ourselves.”

“We Wanted to Create Brand Value, We Achieved It”

“Our Target is Completely Europe!”

Stating that their goal is to raise Yılnak to an international level, Göksun continued his words as follows; “Our goal was to create brand value. I believe we achieved this. Now our target is completely Europe! In this regard, we will attend the Breakbulk Europe event, which will take place in Rotterdam in May 2024, for the third time. At this stage, we are giving priority to cooperating with foreign partner companies and agencies for this purpose. Subsequently, in order to increase our slice of the cake, the service we will provide, and to better explain ourselves, we have memberships in different networks such as these, including the energy sector and the project cargo sector. Now we are investigating these, investigating points such as who is in Turkey, who is more active, how many members they have. We are currently looking at their feasibility.”

“We Take Care of Ourselves”

Pointing out that many investments and infrastructure works have been completed, Göksun said that; “From this point on, the work starts to happen. Everyone in the industry is as strong as their equipment, infrastructure and system. The priority here is, of course, to transport the goods from point A to point B, but the trust you can provide to your customers is also important. There are many important points here such as insurance, operation, originality and certification of the equipment. We are interested in what we do, not what others do. We are not interested in how many vehicles our competitors produce, where they go, or how many tons they load. We take care of ourselves.”

“Yılnak Also Initiates Investments of Other Companies”

“There is a Volume Increase in Turkey”

Expressing his comments about the investments made, Göksun said that; “Of course, Yılnak is not the only one making the investments I mentioned, but we can say that they are pioneering other companies. Because you are already competitors; they will either surpass you or come to your level. For this reason, the other side also takes action. This is a big breakthrough for quality, trust given to customers and most importantly for Turkey. The Russia-Ukraine war drew all traffic in Europe to Turkey. Therefore, no one in Turkey can say 'I will not invest', because there is an increase in volume. If you don't do it, someone else will definitely bring a vehicle from outside and do it anyway. Therefore, this leads to market loss. The aim here is to get a share of the cake. Investments are made to increase the share you can get in this direction, so our competitors look at the issue from this point of view as we do.”

“You Are As Strong As Your Team And Equipment”

“We Are Making Investments to Meet the Incoming Demand”

Pointing out that the problems experienced in Russia in particular create a serious opportunity for Turkey, Göksun said that; “Being able to respond to the opportunity is a matter of competence. As I said, you are as strong as your team and equipment. Therefore, what will make a difference is your number of vehicles, vehicle park, capacity and number of axles. Accordingly, we purchased wings, pools, rails and hydraulic trailers. We are making investments to meet the demand. For example, we bought a lot of modular trailers.”

“We Will Invest in Warehouses in Five Pilot Regions”

“We Will Have Investmennt in the Energy Sector in Izmir”

Giving comments on Turkey's economic situation and Yılnak's position, Göksun said that; “Everyone knows the situation in Turkey. You know the exchange rates. We are literally wearing shirts of fire in the current situation. But if we want to be permanent in this market, make Yılnak a brand and compete with our European competitors, we have to make these investments. We chose five pilot regions, including Greece, Alp Özler's stronghold. We will invest in warehouses there. In addition, we will have investments related to the energy sector in Izmir. There is an ongoing process. Our managers will announce it when the time is right, we hope very good things will happen for us.”

“Yilnak's Self-Owned Vehicles Will Be on European Roads by the End of 2024!”

Continuing his speech by saying that; “Volume and capacity are clear in Turkey.” Göksun stated the following expressions; “There are big businesses originating from Europe. While we have experience and network, we are in favor of bringing that cargo from Europe here. I hope that by the end of 2024, we will see our own self-owned vehicles in Europe as Yılnak as well as Alp Özler.”

“The Third Generation Does Not Continue the Business in Turkey”

“We Are Lucky Thanks to the Vision And Energy of Ömer Gece”

Concluding his words, Göksun pointed out that the third generation does not continue in the transportation sector in Turkey and said that; “The third generation either quits or finishes the business. We are very lucky in this regard that Ömer Gece has a real vision in this regard. I came to Yılnak about three years ago, seeing the energy and vision of Mr. Ömer. Protecting your brand is only possible with this energy. I hope this awareness will also develop in our industry. Because Türkiye is a bridge in a very important position.”
