Starting her speech with the services provided by Bilsa, which was established in 1980, Ünal said the following; “As Bilsa, we are a company that produces and exports automotive service equipment and provides after-sales services, operating in Dudullu Organized Industry, Ümraniye-Istanbul. We have exceeded 40 years. We especially produce brake test devices, joint clearance control devices, suspension test devices, lateral slip devices, engine performance measurement devices, auto expertise devices, exhaust gas emission devices and end-of-production line control equipment for vehicles. Our business is with measuring devices. We focus on brake testers.”
“The Slightest Intolerable Error in the System Causes Huge Disasters”
“Our Production for All Vehicles Proceeding on the Highways Continues”
Ünal continued by touching on the vital importance of brake performance and said that; “One of the most important points affecting the safety of vehicles is the performance of the brakes. The slightest intolerable error in the system causes huge disasters. It is especially important to check it periodically. It is useful to perform periodic checks to detect and replace worn or damaged brake parts. It is not possible to accurately control anything that you cannot measure, and it is not possible to manage anything that you cannot control. Therefore, our brake test devices are currently used in maintenance-repair workshops, brake services, preliminary inspection services and authorized services of logistics and transportation companies. We work with military units in the public sector and take part in their maintenance and repair workshops. We also work with State Hydraulic Works, General Directorate of Highways, municipalities and bus operators. Electric vehicles also have a braking system. That's why we are currently working with vehicle manufacturers. We make special productions for them. At the same time, as Bilsa, we started to serve the defense industry. We produce both brake testers and dynamometer devices, especially for 4x4 vehicles used in the defense industry abroad. Apart from that, we also work with brands such as Beypiliç. Here, they check the brakes of their own vehicles with the Bilsa brake tester. They control their own maintenance. The maintenance and repair work also needs to be checked. It is necessary to manage this and ensure professionalism. Therefore, we have been producing in this field for many years. We continue to produce both passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and heavy vehicles, that is, all vehicles traveling on the highways.”

Underlining that they make a hundred percent domestic production, Ünal continued her words as follows; “These devices are entirely our own production and are produced in accordance with European standards. In addition, as Bilsa, we have also received the domestic production certificate. Since we have received the domestic production certificate, our suppliers also have these documents and all the products we purchase are certified. The reducers and motors used in our devices are suitable for the device type, and the steel we use in the drums is also produced from steel that has a manufacturer's certificate. It is all domestic production, and the software belongs to us. We also make this software in different languages, and since we export it, we can translate it into different languages. When the information is entered correctly in our devices, we can easily obtain the deviation in brake forces, brake efficiency and ovolity values, turn them into a report and share them with our customers. We have been providing added value to our country for many years in this way.”

Speaking about the quality of its products, spare parts availability and service, Ünal said that; “We use the best, highest quality and certified products available in Turkey. We have been working with our suppliers for a very long time, we are like family now. They keep their stock for us. Therefore, we can provide very fast service regarding spare parts. Likewise, since the software belongs to us, we can respond much faster when there are different demands or special productions. For after-sales services, we use our online support service, which we used long before the pandemic. With this system, we can intervene in any situation with 80 percent ease. We use this service both at home and abroad. Our customers are also very satisfied. We also have a mobile service. In addition, with our customer CRM service, we instantly process, schedule and solve requests from our customers.”

“Our Aim is to Increase Our Exports”
Stating that they continue their export activities without slowing down, Ünal said that; “We have activities for the Turkic Republics, North African countries, Iraq and European countries in the Middle East market. In addition, we are in talks with Southeast Asian countries, especially on the defense side, and have made shipments. Our aim is to increase our exports, even though there are many factors affecting exports due to the conditions in the world. We are currently expanding our overseas market through distributor connections. Of course, our plans in the future include our own restructuring.”

“Support Management System Offers Very Good Opportunities”
Stating that they are registered in the Support Management System offered by the Ministry of Commerce, Ünal said that; “We have been participating in domestic fairs for about 4 years. We want to participate in international fairs in the coming years. There are fairs where we need to be at important points. The Support Management System offers very good opportunities in this regard. I follow these too.”
“We Had Very Good Sales in 2023”
“I Think We Will Close 2024 Well”
Stating that they had a good year 2023, Ünal concluded her words as follows; “We had a good year 2023. We made very good connections and had very good sales. We currently have projects coming from 2023. A slight contraction was expected in 2024, but believe me, we have not experienced any major problems so far. Currently, our orders and sales are all going well. Therefore, I think we will close 2024 well.”
